Dongguan First Time Brand Overseas Development Conference held in Songshan Lake at 1st Nov, 2024. The conference, titled "Digital Trade Dongguan, Global Connection".

During the conference, Dongguan will kick off the Dongguan Digital Trade Port, as well as introduce innovative services such as the Huawei (Dongguan) Cross-Border E-Commerce Comprehensive Service Innovation Center, Xinhua New Media International E-Commerce and Digital Economic Industry Base. Dongguan Brand Overseas Service Centers in Vietnam and the United States, and the Dongguan High-Tech Product Exhibition and Trade Centers in Vietnam and the United States. These platforms are aimed at promoting the development of digital trade for Dongguan enterprises and serzing new opportunities for global trade.

Dongguan owned a diverse industrial system with 21,000 industrial enterprises producing over 60,000 products across 34 categories. The city is known for its focus on technological innovation and advanced manufacturing. By 2023, Dongguan was ranked fifth in the nation and second in Guangdong province in terms of import and export value.
