When daily work is filled with on-screen documents and meeting agendas, and communications between colleagues mostly revolve around project progress, we all need a gathering that breaks the routine — to stretch our bodies and ease our minds in nature, and draw closer to each other through interactions. So this weekend, we temporarily left the offices and workshops behind and embarked on a team-building journey filled with mountain views, collaboration and laughter.

As the early morning sun had just climbed over the hilltops, a bus loaded with anticipation headed for the suburban campsite — Qingyuan Flower Manor. Free from the urgency of KPIs and the anxiety of deadlines, everyone's enthusiasm was immediately ignited by the fun challenges at the campsite as soon as they dropped off their luggage.

The games kicked off. In the "We Are the Best Team" session, some colleagues figured out how to complete each movement segment at the fastest speed, others cheered loudly with slogans, and some ran around to coordinate movements and props. Colleagues from different departments who were previously unfamiliar with each other quickly found a rapport through active cooperation.

During the "10-Person Tank Game", team members held a long cloth and explored in a divided way. Some were good at analyzing the walking routes, while others carefully observed the key points of each movement. Even when there were disputes over which fork in the road to take, they could always quickly unify their direction based on the consensus of "prioritizing the goal".
The evening barbecue party felt more like a "slow-paced healing experience". Everyone took turns to grill food — some were in charge of flipping the ingredients and brushing sauce, some helped pass ingredients, and others assisted in pouring drinks. Amidst the rising smoke and fire, the sense of unfamiliarity gradually faded away, and the feeling of closeness quietly grew. After eating and drinking their fill, there was a karaoke session followed by a bonfire party. Colleagues who had been a bit reserved earlier let go of their usual seriousness at this moment. Occasionally, sparks would jump up, and everyone danced and sang around the bonfire. The firelight shone on everyone's face, making the smiles and the sincerity in their eyes particularly clear. It turned out that the bonds of the team are not only hidden in the proposals discussed in the meeting room, but also in the songs, laughter and heartfelt words by the bonfire. (Everyone who participated in the performances got cash rewards — that was awesome!)

Impressions from this team-building trip included comments like, "It turns out colleagues from the adjacent department are not only professional, but also so good at livening up the atmosphere" and "When working together to overcome challenges, I realized the team's strength is stronger than I imagined".
When the bus headed back with the evening twilight and everyone's tiredness, each person had a contented smile on their face. This team-building trip didn't have a complicated schedule, but it allowed us to see the shining points of each other while working side by side, and break down the barriers between departments through relaxed interactions. After returning to our work posts, the trust and rapport gained in the mountains will eventually be transformed into motivation to move forward together. After all, a good team can not only work together to "win tough battles" at work, but also enjoy the "warmth of daily life" during gatherings.
